APPLE

Apple wood is one of our most popular flavors among chefs for grilling and smoking.  Apple wood produces a mild yet delicate smoke with a hint of sweetness to add a very distinctive flavor to meats grilled or smoked with it.  Apple wood is great for pork, poultry, and lighter items.  It also goes well with beef when mixed with Hickory or Pecan.

MESQUITE

Mesquite is very popular cooking wood especially in the Southern Regions of the United States among beef cooking chefs. Mesquite wood provides a rich and distinct flavor. Mesquite wood ideally pairs with brisket, steak, and other cuts of beef. Mesquite wood can also complements other meats such as pork and lamb.

PEACH

Peach wood chunks provide your cooking  with a slightly sweet and fruity flavor to your meats and poultry. Often used with competition Pitmasters. Peach wood is not as heavy as oak or other hardwoods. In general fruit woods are on the acidic side so they act as a mild meat tenderizer. The flavor of fruit wood is ideal for all white meats, fish and seafood. When used on beef, pork or chicken add an equal of amount of Oak or Hickory. Peach wood is very common to use to smoke small game birds such as Quail, Grouse and Partridges.

PECAN

Pecan wood is one of the most popular woods when it comes to barbeque. It has won more barbecue championships than any other wood. Pecan wood produces an aroma similar to Hickory but adds a sweeter flavor to the meat being cooked.  Pecan wood like Hickory pairs well with pork, however it is often used with heavier meats such as beef or lamb.
